1. Slice the skeleton feature is now included in table sequencing. This allows the user to slice up the sheet at the beginning, end of in between the processing of the sheet. This can be a very useful feature for companies that would like to prevent possible injury by dragging the large skeleton across the table.
2. Metacam expanded its product range to support offline programming of welding robots. The first robot to be supported is the Yazkawa welding robot in Japan. The process uses the complex MetaCAM 3d simulation engine to determine the optimal path while welding parts.
3. Layout settings features have been consolidated and integrated into a single icon for easy user access. This improves the usability and allows customers to easily monitor all key settings for a nest from a single window.
4. A new and improved layout table sequencer has been added with featurs such as color coded synchronization of parts. The ability to easily group, change corners and define the sequence of the nest.
5. A special feature has been added to improve the speed of simulation of the Bending machines in the software.
6. Edit the approach/ Escape of common line cut layouts in the layout mode.
7. Improvements and changes have been made to support common line feature in the Layout mode. This allows users to maximize the amount of sheet usage and the cutting time.
8. When you use the Dock command to place parts touching one another, it computes the beam width and uses it automatically.
9. Improved behavior of manual nesting of common line that allows users to manually merge parts and common line them based on predefined settings. This is also supported by new improved methods of sequencing for common line.
10. New chain cutting and bridge feature supported for Waterjet machines
